THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS! Must have taken a formal firearms safety class with a certified instructor to participate because this is NOT instructional. Proof required upon request. The course consists of instruction in the following areas: Developing a personal and home protection plan The legal use of force Police interaction Violent encounters and their aftermath Defensive mindset Advanced skills. The course ends with fast moving live fire on the range. You need to know and practice the firearm safety rules, stance, grip, and to be able to load and unload in a timely fashion. You will need a semi-auto pistol with a minimum caliber of 9mm or revolver with a minimum caliber of .38 special. 100 rounds of factory ammo- purchased at the range- no outside ammo Eyes and ears available Students will receive a copy of the book: Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals by Michael Martin. A Course Completion Certificate will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the course. Cancellation within 14 days of the course date minus $9 service fee.
