On Thursday morning, March 23, meet the Oak Creek Watershed Council team near at Sunset Park at 8:30 am. We'll welcome everyone, have a brief discussion about safety, and then disperse to pick-up litter in various places, including: Sunset Park itself, the trail that leads to Shelby Drive, and the parking area; trails into Carroll Canyon, which is an important tributary wash that leads to Oak Creek. The Council will provide gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers. Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, bring water to stay hydrated, and arrive with positive energy! Depending on how much litter we encounter, we'll plan to conclude around 11:30 am. We'll return supplies, weigh and record the litter we collect, and pose for a group photo. Questions?
