Come join us for this fun day of networking, information, giveaways, and more! Anyone looking to start or advance their career in education is invited: college students, currently certified/licensed professionals, custodial/maintenance workers, support staff, and paraprofessionals. Are you thinking about entering teaching as a second career? We would like to meet you. The goal of the 1st Annual Public Education Career Fair is to attract qualified individuals from the tri-state area interested in a career at one of the 17 school districts in Westmoreland County. Presentation topics to include: effective resume/cover letter design, interview strategies, social media awareness, benefits of working in public education, living/working in Westmoreland County, how to become an educator, master's programs, clearances, planning & retirement. Potential Careers in Education: custodial/maintenance, classroom assistants, personal care assistants, teaching professionals.
