SUMMARY: The ACHA will host the 2023 Annual Meeting for membership and invited guests in Southwest Florida in April in conjunction with the dates of the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) convention. The ACHA events will once again take place at the Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs, Florida on Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29, 2023. The Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club is located at 9801 Treasure Cay Lane, Bonita Springs, FL 34135, just 10 miles straight north of the Gulfcoast Inn (Harold's Place) on Tamiami Trail. This location is also situated just 8 miles north of where the AHCA Convention is being held at the Naples Grand Hotel from Wednesday, April 26 - Saturday, April 29, 2023. With the relocation of the AHCA Convention from the old Naples Beach and Golf Club in 2022, we moved to our new location at the Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club which features a 27-hole Championship Golf Course, a large Clubhouse over looking the golf course with a variety of meeting spaces and massive Grand Ballroom, outdoor Terrace and 2 bar/pub areas. This location provides the ACHA with "our own" feel and allow us to enjoy the Southwest Florida hospitality yet provide the necessary meeting room space to be productive. SCHEDULE: Friday, April 28: 10:00-11:00am: ACHA Board of Directors Meeting (Gulfcoast Inn) 11:30am-12:30pm: ACHA Commissioners & Operations Staff Meeting (Gulfcoast Inn) 1:30-2:30pm: ACHA Treasurer "TOWN HALL" Meeting - open for membership to attend (Gulfcoast Inn) 5:30 & 6:15pm: Bus service provided to Awards Banquet & Hall of Fame Dinner departing Gulfcoast Inn at 5:30pm and 6:15pm and returning from event to Gulfcoast Inn at 10:00pm. 6:00-10:00pm:  ACHA Awards Banquet & Hall of Fame Dinner (Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club) Bus service to event provided departing Gulfcoast Inn at 5:30 & 6:15pm, returning after event at 10:00pm) Saturday, April 29: 7:00-8:00am: Check-in for ACHA Annual Membership Meeting - members only (Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club) 8:00-11:30am: Annual Meeting General Session- members and invited guests only (Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club) 11:45am-12:15pm: Lunch served on patio (Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club) 12:15-2:00pm: Divisional Breakout Sessions (Spanish Wells Golf & Country Club) 3:00-4:30pm: ACHA Coaches Social & Season Celebration sponsored by JOG Athletics (Gulfcoast Inn)  ** American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Convention is located at a different property.
