Please join us for our upcoming Titletown Talks featuring Willie Jackson, Sr. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., at Emerson Alumni Hall in the Warrington Room. Mr. Jackson and Leonard George were the first African American scholarship football players at the University of Florida, and Mr. Jackson was the first Black player to appear in a Gators football game in the 1970 season opener against Duke. We look forward to hearing about his experiences, and the Leonard George and Willie Jackson Sr. Scholarship Endowment. Light refreshments will be served. The event is free, but space is limited to 80 people so please register here by Monday, February 20, 2023. Parking is available in the O'Connell Center parking lot. We'll be sharing the lot with fans attending the Women's Basketball game that evening at the same time but there should be plenty of space for everyone!
