Press release from the Plymouth Public Library: January 6, 2021 Due to the extraordinary events of the day, we are re-scheduling this program to Monday, January 11 at 6:00 PM. The Zoom link will remain the same but please note the new day (same time). We have a great virtual program coming up with the Plymouth Philharmonic's own Maestro, Steven Karidoyanes, who will delight you with a virtual music appreciation lesson entitled Your Symphonic Companion. Broadcast live from his studio, this engaging 90 minute presentation will be "Everything You Wanted to Know About Listening to Symphonic Music But Were Afraid to Ask!" Conductor Karidoyanes introduces all the basic elements of music in a user-friendly way, focusing on how to listen, what to listen for, and how to appreciate and enjoy musical creativity and expression. The Meet the Maestro 27 will be a poignant collaboration with Jennifer Harris, soon to be retired Library Director. They have made music magic over the past 27 years, to the appreciation of an adoring public. We hope you will join for for this enlightening event.
