Solutions Through Film Overview This year’s 20th annual celebration of Solutions Through Film will spotlight the genre of Hip-Hop and its various contributions to this now-global culture. Join us as we showcase three films exploring main elements of the genre: emceeing, breakdancing, graffiti, and fashion. Agenda: You're Watching Video Music Box (10:30am - 12:00pm): The untold story of the world’s longest running video show, Video Music Box. Break (12:00pm - 12:05pm) Fresh Dressed (12:05pm - 1:30pm): Fresh Dressed is a fascinating chronicle hip-hop's influence on urban fashion. Break (1:30pm - 1:40pm) Dave Chappelle’s Block Party (1:40pm - 3:30pm): Celebrate with Dave Chappelle in this uncensored, unforgettable and unbelievably hilarious full-length movie about throwing the ultimate block party. Panel Discussion (3:30pm - 4:30pm): A conversation on the evolution of hip hop, from past to present. Suggested donations: Single Screening Pass ($25): Your choice of viewing You're Watching Video Music Box, Fresh Dressed, or Dave Chappelle's Block Party as a part of the Solutions Through Film 20th Annual Black History Film Festival. Half Day Pass ($35): Your choice of attending the 10:30am - 1:30pm or 1:30pm - 4:30pm portion of the program. Full Day Pass ($50): Access to all event programming from 10:30am - 4:30pm.
