Press release from the Town of Plymouth: January 7, 2021 Dear Residents of Plymouth, "As we continue to face the reality that more of our residents are testing positive for Covid-19, we know that we need to do more to protect our families, loved ones, and community. The number of COVID-19 cases in Plymouth has more than doubled in the past weeks and are expected to continue to rise after the recent Holidays.Because of this spike in cases, effective Monday, January 11, 2021, the Plymouth Town Hall at 26 Court Street will be open to residents by appointment only. Residents seeking an appointment should call or email the appropriate department to make arrangements. Appointments will be subject to strict COVID-19 protocols, including contact tracing information. This restriction of public access to your Town Hall will remain in place temporarily. We will discuss this decision often and notify you when we move back to welcoming customers into the building. Please continue to take these steps now and into the foreseeable future: · Wear a mask · Wash your hands often. · Keep gatherings small – even with family and friends and make sure everyone wears a mask and keeps a safe distance. · Don't share food or drinks. · Stay home if you feel sick. · Follow travel quarantine guidelines. · Get tested. To inquire about Town Hall services, call 508.747.1620 or email the staff member directly - town employees emails are available on the Town website at www.plymouth-ma.gov/. For more information on how to stop the spread of COVID-19, visit Mass.gov/StopCOVID19. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support." Melissa G.
