Description

The Towpath Trail Lantern Parade is a celebration of light, creativity and sustainability welcoming spring to the banks of the Cuyahoga River. The parade will take place on March 11 at 6:30 PM. It will start and end at Sokolowski’s Overlook and include a 1.6 mile roundtrip along the Towpath Trail. The parade will feature local artists displaying illuminated art made from recycled materials. Planning to join us? Make your own lantern from recycled materials and a battery powered light to bring! Instructional videos can be found on our YouTube channel but feel free to get creative. We can’t wait to see what you make! Hosted by Canalway Partners, this event is supported by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. PARKING: Free parking will be available at 1429 Abbey Ave.
