Our River Stewards engage in public advocacy in support of CRC’s mission and collaborate with partners across all four states to protect and serve rivers. Our spring Meet & Greets will include a presentation of CRC’s history and anticipated future, a conversation with the River Steward in your region, and an opportunity to share your thoughts and get involved in river conservation. We invite you to make connections with CRC staff and your neighbors and community members who also care about rivers. Light refreshments will be served.

* About Rhea (she/her):
Rhea Drozdenko is the River Steward in Connecticut. Rhea grew up in Torrington, CT and moved to Middletown, CT eight years ago. She can often be found reading a book in a hammock or picnicking with friends along the river. Rhea holds a BA in Sociology with a Civic Engagement Certificate, as well as a MALS in Social Sciences from Wesleyan University. Before joining CRC in August 2022, she worked in community engagement and higher education. She is excited to work with our many partners to protect the river, bring awareness to the issues that our watershed faces, and reconnect communities to the water.
