Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour and presenting partners Rab, BUFF®, Banff & Lake Louise Tourism Brought to you by the Crested Butte Search and Rescue Team, invites you to join us for the 2023 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour - March 10 & 11, 2023 7 to 10pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious mountain festivals in the world! Hot on the heels of the Festival that is held every fall in beautiful Banff, Alberta, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour hits the road. With stops planned in roughly 550 communities and more than 40 countries across the globe, the Banff World Tour celebrates amazing achievements in outdoor storytelling and filmmaking worldwide! From the over 400 entries submitted into the Festival each year, award-winners and audience favorites are among the films that are carefully selected to play in theatres around the world. Traveling to remote vistas, analyzing topical environmental issues, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports the 2022/2023 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world. * Each night's showing will present a different selection of films ranging from outdoor adventure to mountain culture. The first night's showing on March 10th , features the Juniper Program. The second night's showing on March 11th, features the Willow Program. See the attached photos for a complete list and description of films being shown. Come for both nights to see all the films! Films range in length from 2 to 40 minutes. This is a fundraising event for Crested Butte Search and Rescue which is an all volunteer organization that relies on your donations to help us keep serving our community.
