The Baton Rouge North Economic Development District Presents: The Black Art Showcase. Join us for wine and elevated bites as we highlight black owned businesses in North Baton Rouge while presenting an exhibition of artwork by Black artist from Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. The goal of the exhibit is to celebrate Black History Month and the legacy of our ancestors through comradery and community partnership by showcasing the talents of local Black artists from all skill levels. All art displayed will be available for purchase and all proceeds will benefit showcased artists.
Featured artists will include: Josh White, Joe Hines, Keith Cartoon, Vincent Cook, Kyron Shannon, Jerome Ford and many more.
The Baton Rouge North Economic Development District (BRNEDD) was created by State Legislative ACTS No. 433 & 528 in the Parish of East Baton Rouge. The district is a political subdivision of the state created for the purpose of developing the area within the district in order to provide for substantial economic activity and employment opportunities.
