The Student of the Year Competition consists of High School Students & Undergraduate Kappas who represent their Provinces through competing at the Province level or completing a selection process.

Critically acclaimed television, film and stage actor John Marshall Jones (“JJ”) is best known for his series regular role as ‘Floyd Henderson’, the loving father from the 90’s hit show “Smart Guy.” John currently recurs as Leonard Shaw on “All American, Homecoming” (CW) and as Nelson Bradford in “For All Mankind” (APPLE TV+). He has recurred on “Big Little Lies” (HBO) starring alongside Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep, “9-1-1” (FOX) opposite Angela Bassett, “S.W.A.T.” with Shamar Moore (ABC), and “The Morning Show” (APPLETV+), sharing the screen with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. John is also recognized as ‘Special Agent Jay Griffin’ on (Amazon’s) hit police procedural series, “Bosch,” and as ‘Sheriff Brown’ on (USA TV’s) original drama series, “Shooter”. John has had other notable guest starring roles on series like “Act Your Age”, "All Rise" (OWN), “The Rookie” (ABC) and “Grace and Frankie” (Netflix).
