Join us on Thursday, March 9, from 9am – 12:30pm for this educational forum. Together, we will discuss the stigma in the medical field surrounding mental health and substance use disorder, and how we can work to eliminate it. In Middlesex County, we recognize this stigma and its widespread reach. We also acknowledge that the pervasive nature of this stigma is part of the reason many individuals remain unserved. Medical and public health professionals are often the first point of contact for those seeking help, so it’s imperative that these professionals use appropriate language and care. This forum will provide education and resources to give the best possible service to the community. Event details Date: Thursday, March 9, 2023Time: 9am until 12:00pm.
