This is an application-based event: you must apply to be considered for attendance. This event will begin with an optional tour of the Comcast Center at 4 pm. Please choose the corresponding ticket to be registered for the tour portion. For this GPLEX360 session, we will hear from various experts, including Comcast’s RISE program and the Economy League’s PAGE program, who are working from different perspectives to address the challenges experienced by small business owners. We will also hear from local business owners about their experiences working with PAGE and RISE. Each organization will present their work to the audience then divide into small groups throughout the room to engage directly with attendees. We will explore the perspectives and resources of small businesses in the years following the pandemic, and learn from entrepreneurs, funders, and connectors focused on small business support. The environment for small businesses looks much different than it did three years ago. An increase in work-from-home coupled with a decrease in perceived safety has lessened foot traffic for many business owners. In the meantime, increased small business support services have produced a tenuous system in which business owners must be nimble, creative, and well-rounded. Questions? Email [email protected]
