Like the gritty Mississippi River, Eric Pettit Lion can't stop. And won't stop. Which is what happens when a band fine tunes a sound and hits their stride. EP Lion has morphed into a mainstay in the Iowa music scene. The family duo of Pettit and Ed Mansheim are at the helm with Micah Oleson on bass and vocals, Chris Robbins on peddle steal/fiddle/guitar and Josh Gahn on percussion. Flash in a Pan - A collective of Iowa musicians playing folk, bluegrass, old-time, and Americana. Founded in 2012, named on the assumption that the band would play two shows and dissolve; the band is currently in its 9th year of playing all across the midwest. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
