Bee there for Children’s Mental Health The Orchard Place Spelling Bee is a legendary event where teams can literally pay for their mistakes and bribe their way to victory. In addition to competing for bragging rights and the top prize of Grand Champion Spellers, teams compete for Most Creative Team Name, Best Costumes, Best Cheering Section, and Most Bribe Money raised. Competition is fierce! Bee there for this zany event that raises money and awareness for children’s mental health programs and services at Orchard Place. Purchase your event ticket now for only $10. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. 20th Annual Orchard Place Spelling Bee Thursday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m. Decades Event Center, West Des Moines Orchard Place is home to Iowa’s experts in children’s mental health. In 2022, Orchard Place cared for 7,029 youth through inpatient, outpatient, and community-based programs. Here is a video of some of the fun!
