Learn the basics of keeping backyard chickens! Backyard chicken eggs are delicious and nutritious, their poop is a great addition to your compost pile, and they are endless fun and entertainment!  If you are interested in getting chickens but are unsure how to begin, or if you already have chickens and have some questions you would like to ask a few seasoned chicken owners please join us for our Backyard Chicken Talk with Brittni Howard! Brittni and her husband started building chicken coops for neighbors and friends and their designs became so popular, they started a business. We can't wait to see where 3 Trees and a Coop is headed and are really excited to have Brittni here! Brittni will discuss chicken coop design for optimum chicken health and security. We will also discuss the importance of livestock on a regenerative urban farm and why a chicken train is so important. We will build a simple train for the garden so bring your design skills and plan to have a lot of fun! You will also get to meet our chickens here at Sweet Peas!  We hope to see you there! This event will be held outside so please dress accordingly.
