Join Tami Purdue of Sweat Peas Urban Gardens-- pioneer of the microgreen-growing industry in the Triangle-- for a hands-on workshop all about microgreens. You will leave filled with knowledge and your very own tray of microgreens! Microgreens are easy to grow, tasty on salads and soups, and packed full of antioxidants and other nutrients. Tami Purdue started Sweet Peas Urban Gardens in 2014 in her own backyard. Tami and her team use a retrofitted shipping container for a hydroponic growing system where they grow over fifty-five varieties of microgreens and vegetable shoots.
