On Thursday morning, February 23, meet the Oak Creek Watershed Council team towards the back of the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village at 8:30 am. We have permission to park in the spaces across from the El Rincon Restaurant, the Half Pint Kids Boutique, and a handful of the Tlaquepaque's wonderful galleries. This parking is also closest to Oak Creek! From here we'll welcome everyone, have a brief discussion about safety, and then head to the creek to pick-up litter. The Council will provide gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers. Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring water to stay hydrated, and arrive with positive energy. Depending on how much litter we encounter, we'll plan to conclude around 11:00 am.
