Description

About This Event This month's speakers: Kellie Clark, Martha Underwood, Niesha White Kick off the year's first Coffee & Collisions with us as we hear from accomplished Black women in our local tech ecosystem. These three have moved up the corporate ladder, led nonprofits, started their own organizations - and they'll walk us through their experiences up to this point, as well as what's on the horizon. Kellie Clark is CEO of AppThink, an idea accelerator and community that helps new founders move from ideas to execution. Aspiring tech founders learn how to determine if their ideas are worth the pursuit, build things quickly and inexpensively, and turn a good idea into a great product. Kellie most recently served as Director of Programs for Innovation Depot. From IBM in Florida to Silicon Valley and now Birmingham, Alabama, Martha has built a storied career in the software technology industry. Martha currently serves as the CEO of Prismm, a company dedicated to leveraging technology to ensure wealth transfer at the end of life. Niesha White is a UX Consultant and overall tech enthusiast who is passionate about simplifying complex processes and creating intuitive digital experiences. She is a former Front End Developer who decided to transition to UX because she enjoys creative problem-solving and empathizing with users. Niesha is also the founder of Birmingham Black Techies and the co-host of Behind the Tech Scenes Podcast. Join us at this month's Coffee & Collisions, and please be sure to RSVP as attendance is limited. *Important note: The presentation begins after networking, at 8:45 a.m. Q&A will follow the presentation.
