Description
This year the Charlotte Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. celebrates 65 years of service to the community, enhancing the lives of ALL children and families while being dedicated to raising the next generation of African American leaders. As we continue to honor our legacy Jewels and cultivate our future Gems, we are proud to bring back our signature event Blazers and Bling after two years. Scheduled to take place Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the new upscale Bazal Gallery Lounge located in the vibrant NC Music Factory. This premier fundraiser brings over 600 Charlotte area professionals together in the spirit of philanthropy. This year the Charlotte Chapter is proud to be raising funds for the following organizations: Jack and Jill of America Foundation, our organization's philanthropic arm, whose vision and mission is to transform African American communities, one child at a time, by addressing the issues affecting children and families, and investing in programs and services focused on education, health and wellness. Block Love Charlotte, LLC., a local non-profit organization that services our community's homeless population from children to seniors. Their vision is to improve the quality of life for those individuals who suffer from homelessness and domestic violence. Sowing Mustard Seeds Ministry, a family run, faith-driven, community focused non-profit, supporting the homeless and underserved families in the Charlotte community. Its mission is to help individuals and families, facing food insecurities, physical, medical and/or mental health challenges, gain much needed resources and access to opportunities. It is our hope that you will partner with us in creating a positive impact in our community through ticket purchase, sponsorship or through donation as a Shining Benefactor. We thank you in advance for your commitment and support as we continue to improve the lives of families in the Charlotte community.
