The presenter will discuss methods to reduce litigated claims and documents. The presentation will provide an overview of rules and regulations surrounding the use of nurse case managers in the workers' compensation setting, as well as any recent legal developments affecting compensability of claims.Best Practices for Transitional Duty: This presentation will provide evidence for a robust transitional duty program for employees with work related injuries. An example of a transitional duty program will be discussed followed by role play.Benefits of the Employee Mindfulness Program: This presentation will provide an overview of the benefits of mindfulness to employees including stress reduction and increased productivity. This will be followed by a mindfulness chair yoga session.Continuing Education: This educational activity has been awarded 5.5 hours.
