Please bring: Yoga matBlanketPillow or bolster (optional)Eye pillow (optional)Join Rachel Thompson (Yoga Alliance RYT-500 instructor) and Dr. Kobun Truelove (Marine Biologist) in the new Ocean: Deep Reverence exhibit at the PG Art Center featuring whale photos from six local artists. Rachel will lead the class in a beginner-friendly gentle and restorative yoga flow while Kobun enhances the experience with whale songs using a large speaker specially designed to allow the human body to hear and feel the deep vibrations of the whales. You'll feel the vibrations pulse through your whole body as we move! Class begins at 4:00 PM. Come early or stay after to enjoy the museum and view the photography exhibit featuring artists: Bryant Austin, Scott Campbell, Chuck Davis, Camille Lenore, Robin V. Robinson and Ryuijie. All are welcome, no previous yoga experience required. This will be a gentle class and you are always welcome to lay or sit and enjoy the sounds of the whales.
