Colombo is a blend of French, West, and East Indian spices, combining turmeric, brown mustard seed, hot pepper, coriander, West Indian bay leaf, thyme, and black peppercorn. Participants will also sample the dish, participate in a tasting presented by Beatrice Germain of Rhum Agricole de Martinique Trois Rivières The tasting includes a short history of the rum in the world and presentation of Trois Rivières distillery in Martinique, followed by tasting of 3 rhums Agricole: - Rhum Blanc - Cuvée de l'Océan - Réserve Spéciale Trois Rivières is located on the south of Martinique, and renowned as one of the best Agricole rums in the world. Its long and established method of production bears remarkable products with distinctive depth and aroma.
