Scouts will learn the Knot Vocabulary.Scouts will learn the FOUR types of knots and what they are used forScouts will learn to make 8 specific knots.If they are earning this badge at an additional level, they will learn 5 additional knots.To have this badge signed off at the meeting by Circle Leader: Print badge requirement sheet from handbook or Google Drive resources.Scouts must be able to tell the leader the leader the Knot Vocabulary, so it is not a bad idea for Scouts to do a little practice/study of the vocabulary sheet, linked above.Demonstrate and tell the use for the 8 knots on the requirement sheet.If earning this at an additional level, learn, demonstrate and tell the use of 5 additional knots AND teach another member of the Circle at least one of the knots they know.
