What do we need to know about pronouns and how to better understanding and respect each other's pronouns? What is the difference between gender and sex? Does gender exist on a spectrum? What should we say and not say to create environments that respect gender diversity? In this highly interactive workshop, we will explore what gender identity is and isn't, learn the correct terminology to use, and discuss ways we can better understand and support each other in our diverse world. This gathering will be facilitated by Charity Muse, LPC, BCC, a therapist, coach, and speaker who specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ people from an affirming and empowering perspective. She has taught LGBTQ+ allyship trainings for higher education, nonprofit, ministry, and healthcare settings. Charity offers a relaxed yet professional approach to speaking, creating a warm environment for rich discussion and deepened understanding.
