Description
Christ Saves Hearts Foundation, Inc. presents our 2023 CPR Party 4 Life event hosted on Saturday, February 25th at 10 am in Raleigh, NC. This event is a celebration of life and an opportunity to educate and empower the community on healthy living and CPR training. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in America, with over 475,000 people losing their lives each year to cardiac arrest. The CPR Party 4 Life is designed to raise awareness and equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond in emergencies, potentially saving lives. The event will feature a hands-on CPR demonstration with Michele Woodard of CPR of North Carolina, who will provide valuable insights and techniques on performing CPR and first aid. This event promises to be informative but also fun, uplifting, and empowering. Attendees can expect to enjoy music, networking, and a life-changing experience. This event is free of charge, and all are encouraged to attend with their loved ones. By participating in this event, you will have the opportunity to celebrate life and gain knowledge and skills that could one day save someone's life. So, join us, and let's make a difference together! Thank you to our event sponsors! Christ Saves Hearts Foundation, Inc., is a recognized 501(c)3 that was established to foster advocacy for heart health and create awareness for heart disease and disparities that faces our community every day. Our mission is to promote and advocate for the awareness of heart disparities among all racial and ethnic minorities, with the hope to inspire and empower all mankind that has been impacted by heart disease through the love of God, education, resources, and community outreach. Every year we will award college scholarships to minority high school and college students of the Triangle area impacted by heart disease within their immediate family. In addition, we have initiated the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act for Student Athletes that former Senator Floyd McKissick authored. This bill has graciously received bipartisan support as we continue to push for passing. As we recognize a vast need in our community, we want to encourage and provide hope for our youth. We continually focus our advocacy and community outreach efforts and provide scholarships annually for high school and college students.
