Helping someone who is experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis can be intimidating. As we become more aware of mental health challenges in our communities, the need for training becomes imperative. Mental Health First Aid meets this need and the APC is excited to offer this FREE training to your community! Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to appropriately respond to mental health crises and challenges. Participants will learn how to help a loved one in their darkest hour with understanding, compassion, and skill. Normally $150, the APC will be covering all costs for this training. You DON'T want to miss this opportunity! Our event will be held at the Oneonta Career Center located at 728 2nd Ave E, Suite B, Oneonta, AL 35121 from 1:00-4:00 PM on 2/9/23 and 2/16/23.
