Description

We use Matthews Genesis and traditional recurve bows. Instruction includes equipment nomenclature, safety rules, range rules, etiquette, and shot sequence. All bows and arrows and targets are provided. Participants need only show up ready to receive training and be ready to enjoy different shooting games. At the end of the course, the youth participant will be experienced enough to join one of our existing archery clubs. PLEASE NOTICE: If you sign up for this event, and cannot attend, a 24-hour notice of cancellation would be appreciated. The cost is $5 for each child participating and will be accepted at the door. If paying by credit card, a nominal fee will be imposed by EventBrite. If paying by cash or check, there is no additional fee. A parent or legal guardian is required to be with the youth participant Ages: open to ages 8 (as of Sept. 1, 2022) and above and DO NOT need to be a member of 4-H. This class is open to all youth.
