Whistle Pig Brewing is bringing back one of the most attended and fun schools to warm up the Winter, Tequila School! School starts at 6 pm where you will enjoy a Whistle Pig crafted tequila cocktail, or beer, paired with Fajitas, chips and salsa, rice and beans prepared by our good friend Chef Dani, of the Uncommons. The cocktail will compliment the flavors of the Fajitas and prepare your palette for a full slate of Tequilas, Agave Spirits, and infusion tastings. Melissa Ray is back to take us on a new tequila journey. Her lesson plan includes Tequila, Bacanora, and Mezcal. Joining her will be distillers from Blackhat Distillery pouring 2 of their very popular Agave spirits. Additional pours are guranteed as are delicious one-of-a-kind infusions. Class kicks off after Dinner (about 6:30) with a toast, Salut! Followed by a presentation of tequilas and agave spirits. You will have at least 6 tasters selected to provide a truly one-of-a-kind experience. You can expect Melissa to mix her incredible knowledge with fun tastings, a discussion on cocktails, and infusions. This school will provide what you need to up your tequila knowledge, enjoyment, and give you some ideas to share when you entertain.
