Press release from the Lynnfield Public Library: January 9, 2021 We are pleased to announce a series of events sponsored collaboration with the A Healthy Lynnfield Diversity Work Group made up of representatives from The Town of Lynnfield, Lynnfield for Love, The Lynnfield Public Library, The Lynnfield Anti-Racist League, and The Lynnfield Clergy Collaborative. Join us for a number of events over the next few months. "I'm a Good Person, Isn't that Enough?" with local author Debby Irving, Waking Up White Thursday, January 14, 2020 at 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Library has ordered extra copies of Waking Up White, and they are available now. The Friends of the Lynnfield Library are also selling copies of the book as a fundraiser. Please contact Jennifer Inglis, Director at [email protected] for more details. In addition, our January BookLovers book group will be discussing this title on Thursday, January 21 at 6:30 pm. In February, the series continues with: Undoing Bias by Hollaback, Inc.
