Description

We will meet at the Peet's Coffee in Mill Valley to head toward Mount Tamalpais. There we will do a small hike, Azalea Hill trail, that will allows us to understand the plant communities associated with the California state rock, the serpentine. If we have more energy, we can also take another small trail nearby that ends in a rare Sargent cypress forest, the climatic plant community associated with the serpentines. We will then grab lunch which will be provided to full members
