Each group journaling workshop is driven by a focus theme and scripture centered on one of Christ's commands. In the Great Commission, Christ commanded His disciples to go and teach all nations to observe (obey) all that He had commanded them (Matthew 28:19-20). Christ's command to his initial disciples also extends to today's disciples. This group journaling community exists to be obedient to the Great Commission and foster spiritual growth for disciples. Because of this, disciples will be more spiritually equipped to go into their respective communities, workplaces, and the remaining world to reflect the character of Christ. Their light will shine; others will see their good works, and their father in heaven may be glorified (Matthew 5:16). This process organically yields new followers of Christ; it works to fulfill a disciple's duty to make new disciples (The Great Commission). What to Expect Chatassia will introduce the topic and guide the conversation on how they might relate.Fellow disciples will receive a topic-related journal prompt and scripture to journal their responses.Disciples optionally share a portion of their responses to connect through the session's topic.Chatassia and fellow disciples highlight key takeaways from the discussion and identify practical steps to apply Christ's command to their lives to grow spiritually.Please bring a pen and notebook.
