Hello fellow BRBA members,   Our February meeting will be in-person at the Animal Science Building on the MU campus. Sunday, February 19th at 3:00 pm (doors open at 2:30PM).   Russ Hardesty, a local beekeeper, will discuss low maintenance beekeeping and using swarms to improve colony health. Russ has been beekeeping since 1969. He has increased his colonies through swarm capture. Currently he operates 70 colonies on 180 acres. Additionally we will discuss What's happening with your hives.  What beekeepers should be doing with their colonies or other activities in late winter & early spring.
