Proceeds support endowed scholarships for deserving students. Sponsors include alumni, local corporations, civic groups, the faith community, and individuals. Our motto is “Enter to learn, Depart to serve.” The purpose of the Gala is to engage those who support the mission of Oakwood University to provide students with college access and completion to improve the quality of life for themselves, their families, and their communities.
