HUE Beauty and Natural Hair Affair is back in Austin Powered By MIELLE ORGANICS. The FIRST women of color, natural hair event during the SXSW experience is back for the 5th time at the historical George Washington Carver African-American Museum. We have curated a tribe of amazing brands and local businesses that will be in the building with top quality products to showcase to Austin and beyond! We’ve had over 3200 women over the last 4 HUEs come through the doors to experience this great event. With a DJ, hair demos and presentations in the theater we offer so much. In 2023 we are stepping it up with more experiential activations by your favorite brands. Of course we have the HUE Affair swag bag which is by far the best swag bag you will ever receive with plenty of full-size products valued well over $100. The first 100 women in line receive the swag bag and we also have a VIP ticket option which allows you FastTrack access to the event (NO WAITING IN LINE). additional swag (!!) and your bag is held for you no matter what time you arrive.  ARE YOU READY?!? FAQs What is the COVID protocol? We will follow current Museum guidelines mandated by the state of Texas. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? You must be 18 or older to attend on you own. Children under 11 are free. Maximum of 2 children per ticket holder.  What's the refund policy? There are no REFUNDS unless the event is canceled. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You can but we also can check in attendees via their mobile device.  What is VIP ACCESS? Your swag bag is guaranteed until 4:30PM. You do not need to wait on the General Admission line. Fast Track line is a separate line to gain access to event.
