The Love Party, presented by Creative Futures Fellow Helga Davis is a celebration of the love we feel, share, and create. In recognition of how important and powerful the experience of love is. Travel with us through an immersive art experience for the senses, featuring spoken word, musical performances, live painting, as well as Art from area (local) artists on exhibition, as our guide. We’ll top off the evening with a dance party featuring some of the area’s DJs who will take you on a journey of sounds ranging from jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, to house, R&B and afrobeat where love is the destination. A food truck will be onsite. Cup 22 will have locally baked goods, and the bar will be open. This is an experience you do not want to miss. One that when you leave, you will do so filled with love and happiness! The Helga Davis Love Party is a love fest made possible by the Creative Futures Initiative at Carolina Performing Arts. It is presented in collaboration with the Haw River Ballroom and Get Happy.
