On behalf of Dr. Michael Zollicoffer and the Zollicoffer Student Committee we are delighted to invite you to the 2023 Zollicoffer Banquet & SNMA Silent Auction on Friday, February 24, 2023. Each year the UNC SOM chapter of the Student National Medical Association hosts a Silent Auction during the Zollicoffer Banquet to benefit a community non-profit. The SNMA Silent Auction will take place at 5:30pm during the cocktail hour. Proceeds will benefit the Hive House in Lewiston-Woodville, N.C. More information about the important work of the Hive House can be found here: https://bertiehive.org/ The 40th Annual Zollicoffer-Merrimon Banquet is the capstone Black History Month event for UNC School of Medicine. Please join us as we honor the tremendous legacy of minority medical students at UNC SOM as well as celebrate the 2023 Zollicoffer lecturers, Pete Kadens and Keisha Gibson, MD. We will also recognize the contributions of our student organization to the community this past year, award the Zollicoffer-Cross Community Health Fellowship, and honor Dr. Zollicoffer’s Living Legend awardees.
