Saturday, April 25, 2023 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Instructor: Pinky Ormand Learn the basic how-to of plant propagation: the production of more plants by seeds, cutting and grafting. Please bring your own pruners, if you have them. Also, wear comfortable shoes, because we will spend time in the Gardens collecting samples. PLEASE BRING A WAGON OR CART IF YOU HAVE ONE, PLANTS ARE HEAVY! Pinky Ormand is a horticulturist at Harry P. Leu Gardens and maintains the Idea Garden, White Garden, Butterfly Garden and the Camellia Collection. Pinky attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated with a B.A. in Art and has also earned a Landscape & Horticulture Technology degree from Valencia College. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
