Join us Sunday, March 5th, at DYNO Detroit climbing gym as we screen the film Black Ice and hear about recent ice climbing experiences from Detroiters. This film showcases African American rock climbers from Memphis Rox climbing gym as they journey to Montana with ice climbing professionals to experience what it’s like to climb on a wall of ice. We will have a small panel of individuals who have experienced ice climbing themselves and we'll share some opportunities to get involved with climbing locally. Doors will open at 7 pm and the film will start at 7:30 pm. This event is free and no DYNO membership is required to attend. Bring a blanket, pillow and/or a camp chair to get cozy on the gym floor!
