Learn the tricks to making your very own delicious sweets with the expert baking team of Honeypie Cafe & Bakeshop.  Held inside our bakeshop kitchen at our sister cafe Palomino, this hands-on class will guide you through a variety of different aspects of baking and give you a peek into the life of a bakeshop.  In each class you will bake your own treats to take home.  Classes are approximately 2-3 hours and are limited to 12 people.  Class requires that you stand most of the time and work at a table in a working professional kitchen.  Let us know if you need an accommodation to standing and we will make arrangements! Our classes are designed for adults so attendees should be at least 14 years old. How much fun is it to make lil' hand pies? You know the ones...also called turnovers, tarts, pasties, pop-tarts...  This workshop taught by Honeypie Lead Baker, Brooke Ogierman will focus on assembly of hand pies and the decoration of them. You will be provided wtih pie dough and fillings, you will learn to create little pocket pies and hand pies of varying shapes and how to bake them with success! Cooled and ready hand pies will be provided to learn the trick to decorating pies. You will leave class with a box of little pocket pies for sharing with your loves! Tickets for class includes all of your ingredients, your finished pies, a recipe with tips and tricks and a drink ticket for the bar. (Please note, we often have wait lists for our pie classes.  Tickets to class are non-refundable if you cancel without more than 72 hours notice.  If you need to cancel within 72 hours of class, you are welcome to email us, and we will offer your spot to a person on the waiting list.  If it is taken by someone waiting, we will refund your ticket.  You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend and they can attend in your place.)
