PLEASE SCROLL FURTHER TO LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR SESSIONS AND SPEAKERS BEFORE MAKING YOUR SESSION SELECTIONS! About the Speaker:Angela's walk with the Lord began in 2007 as a result of some very difficult circumstances that God allowed in her life. Although she had been a "daddy's girl" all of her life, it was at that point that she officially became what she likes to refer to as, "My Daddy's Girl." Angela was blessed that the relationship she shared with her earthly father laid the perfect foundation for her to not only accept God's love, but to trust in that love for everything. Angela realized that no matter what she was facing, she would have real and lasting peace as long as she kept her eyes on Jesus. With obedience comes blessing! The Soil of Your Heart (AM Session)with Laura DahlHave you ever been hurt? Has your heart been broken? Has life not turned out like you thought it would? Maybe you lost yourself somewhere along the way, or find yourself in the dry desert, where your heart has hardened. This session will help you begin to nurture your heart back into soft, fertile soil where love can flourish. The young, carefree girl you once knew is still there, and the Father is ready to reconnect and get you back to the purpose for which He created you!Laura is a lover of Jesus, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and a passionate pursuer of purpose in her career as a licensed clinical counselor. She is a generational curse-breaker, and loves to help point people to Jesus on this journey we call life.Prayer - Your Spiritual Life Line (AM Session)with Amy GilbertHow do we live a victorious life in Christ? Where do we turn in times of crisis? Do we turn to our best friend on earth, or to the One who truly can heal our hurts? It is vital that we embrace the power of prayer to walk victoriously with Christ! This world will throw trials and temptations our way, and we need to make sure our spiritual lifeline is open to God. In this session, we’ll dive into prayer – what it is and what it’s NOT. Let’s embrace the power of prayer together, and live a life built on God’s truth.Amy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, for 25 years. They are blessed with two children, whom she had the awesome privilege of homeschooling for most of their education. Amy has been a member of her church for 23 years, where she serves on the praise and worship team, as a choir member, in the WHW Ministry, and as a Sunday School teacher.Picture Perfect (AM Session)with Toni GilleyReady to be free from those voices that tell you to do more and be more? It’s time to ditch the idea of seeking a “Pinterest-worthy” life, and find rest and peace in Jesus! Growing up in the church with an image in mind of the “perfect Christian,” Toni found herself pursuing perfection physically, relationally and spiritually, ultimately leading her to a place of feeling overwhelmed and inadequate.Toni will share what the Lord is showing her about resting in Him and embracing the truth – that God works in our imperfections, and is glorified in our everyday mess!Toni has been married to her high-school sweetheart, Jeff, for 6 years, and they have a beautiful two-year-old daughter. Toni is an ICU nurse who loves her job (most days), but also struggles with occasional “mom guilt.” She is a recovering perfectionist who is learning to embrace having a few crumbs under the kitchen table.God Didn't Promise You a Rose Garden (AM Session)with Kristen JohnsonHave you ever been at the lowest of lows, a point in your life you didn’t think you would make it through? If so, you know that you can’t navigate those times on your own. You need God! The circumstances may or may not change, but whatever the case, He doesn’t change. He wants us to trust and lean on Him. In doing so, we can come out stronger on the other side of the trial.Kristen is a wife and mother of three who is no stranger to trials, having suffered an abusive marriage, a difficult divorce, and a troubled teen child. Through each situation, she has learned and grown, becoming closer to God. The most recent, a cancer diagnosis, has helped her understand how God used her past to prepare her for the testing she faces today. The Recipe for Faith (PM Session)with Robin EnglandWhat is the recipe for faith? God gives us the ingredients for our daily bread, but He expects us to do the baking! Discover the ingredients of faith God has shown Robin, and hear a testimony of how He took her by the hand, showed her how to trust in Him, and taught her never to leave Him on the back burner of her life.We will explore the inconsistencies of human faith compared with the steadfastness of God’s character. Human faith is prone to wavering, determined by emotions; God’s character is unchanging and constant.Robin has been married to the love of her life, Randall, for 23 years. She wears many hats: wife, daughter, aunt, caregiver, and ladies’ ministry leader. As crazy as it sounds, she loves to organize things, collect turtles, read recipe books, attend Bible studies and crochet, crochet, crochet!Beauty From Ashes (PM Session)with Angel JohnsonHow can the loss of two infant sons be turned from tragedy into triumph? How can you learn to trust and follow God in hard times, and go wherever He leads? Angel Johnson will share her testimony and how the Lord turned what the adversary meant for evil into the beautiful story of their family . . . a story that only God could pen.Angel married her high school sweetheart, Andy, 26 years ago. Thankfully, the hardships they have faced only strengthened their love. They have been blessed with seven children(two in Heaven) and an amazing son-in-law. Their family was not made the way they imagined, but they count it a blessing to have watched God build it His way and in His time! One Womans Story of Life and Faith (PM Session)with Denise ShackelfordHardships are inevitable this side of Heaven; we all face them. But how do we gain victory over them? How do we show joy in the midst of them? How can we be “Wonder Woman”when our strength is gone? Through parental divorce, parental death, infertility, custody court battles, adoptions, business highs and lows, prodigal children (including jail time) and cancer, the Word of God has brought joy and granted peace. When Denise walked the aisle to marry her “Superman,” she never could have imagined the life God was orchestrating for them. It certainly has not been boring! After 35 years, four children and two beautiful grandchildren, Ken is still her “Superman, and she his “Wonder Woman.” In this session, Denise will help you dive into the transforming power of the Word, and learn how to let the sweetness of Jesus turn your lemons into lemonade.Bless the Waves, Cling to the Rock (PM Session)with Alice StewartTrials don’t come to destroy us, but to make us more like Christ. Alice has learned that, in her darkest nights, she is never alone. In fact, she has learned that, on the hardest days of her life, she cannot survive without falling on her face before the Lord and clinging to her Savior.Alice is a wife of 37 years to her teenage sweetheart, Matthew. She is the mother of three beautiful children. Her first child, a daughter, died at six months of age. Her second child, a son, was a healthy, strapping boy who has grown up and given her a wonderful daughter-in-heart and three precious grandbabies. Her third child, a daughter, was born and has lived with an incurable, life-threatening neuromuscular disease, and lives with hospital-level care every day.Alice will share her testimony of how God’s grace has brought her through loss, dealing with long-term illness in the family, and brought amazing blessings and major life changes in the midst of it all.Song service with the WHW Worship team, YHWH! with Kristen Phillips, Chris Engelberth, Patti Jo Cook, Bella Cox, Lauren Gilbert and Ponch Bolado (not in photo)God is seeking people to worship Him in spirit and in truth - We invite you to join us as we praise, honor and glorify the Lord through music. Our hearts desire is to bring worshippers into the presence of God and for Him to be glorified in all that we do. That is how we became YHWH.YHWH our Lord, as in Exodus 15:2 -"The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him." It is our calling and desire to usher believers into a spirit of worship that glorifies and exalts the name of Jesus.
