BASIC HANDMADE BOTANICAL SOAP WORKSHOP Hosted by Dariela Joy of Dariela’s Naturals If you have ever been interested in learning how traditional soap is made consider joining us for this workshop at the Aussakita Acres Farm. In this 2 to 3 hour workshop you will be provided with the necessary tools and materials to make your own soap on site through careful instruction. During this time you will learn the following steps and techniques: • The difference between genuine soap and beauty bars/detergents • How to select the components that combined, produce genuine Soap • The order of operation and techniques • Necessary safety gear and precautions • The tools and devices required for complete the process from start to finish • How to set your saponified creation in a mold to eventually be cut and cured When our time together is over you will leave not only with the understanding of how to make soap, but also with a superior, non-toxic, moisturizing, skin nourishing natural product delicately scented with essential oils. Due to the complexity of this workshop age requirement is 12 and older. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
