The Women’s Initiative is hosting the second installment of its Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Speaker Series to celebrate diversity, honor local women leaders, educate members, and create opportunities for role models and mentorship in the community. Guest Speaker: Rubby Wuabu, Assistant District Attorney, Office of District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr. Moderated by: Stephanie Williams, Chief Diversity Executive, Mount Wachusett Community College Join us for good food, networking, and conversation! 5:00 PM – Doors Open 5:30 PM – DEI Conversation with Rubby 6:15 PM - Networking Appetizers courtesy of Women’s Initiative. Cash bar. Attorney Rubby Wuabu is a product of the Worcester community. Born in Ghana, Attorney Wuabu attended South High Community School then went on to Simmons University where she studied political science and economics. She is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School. Attorney Wuabu is a board member of the central mass YWCA, former committee woman on the City’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women, and Co-chair of the Worcester County Bar Association’s Committee for Anti-Racism and Equality. Attorney Wuabu is currently an Assistant District Attorney in the Office of District Attorney Joseph Early Jr.
