Our focus is on positive treatment outcomes for all individuals within our care, African Americans, BIPOC and others within the Greater Springfield area. Vision BBHN envisions offering comprehensive and culturally appropriate behavioral health services to men and women committed to a guided recovery journey that enables them to reach their full human potential and become contributing members to their community, families, and society. Our objective is to address service gaps and behavioral health disparities experienced by individuals, families, military veterans, those affected by addiction, criminal justice issues, homelessness, unemployment/underemployment, and other social injustices that affect the quality of life for those populations. The outcome is to recognize more successful efforts utilizing supportive services in the community to reduce recidivism. Scope of Services ● Field client referrals submitted by drug courts, healthcare centers, and veterans facilities ● Provide sober home residency with a maximum of one year ● Cultivate partnerships with community agencies providing outpatient services ● Culturally supportive services targeting Black/African-American residents in Springfield, MA ● Provide job training in tandem with agencies that concentrate on education, detox, and criminal justice reform ● Work with public health agencies to increase treatment completion within marginalized groups.
