Worship Dance Sundays is a first of it's kind pop up dance class from Christina Clark of Arise Dance Ministry. The class is open to any person age 16 and older. All skill levels are welcome. Anyone that is interested in learning how to incorporate movement into worship through dance. Current and former dancers are encouraged to attend, especially if they are looking for a community-based group to dance with, desire to gain new skills, or want to get back into dancing without joining a church ministry team. You do not need to have dance experience, but you should be physically able to participate in class. Where is the class? Abbotts Creek Community Center - 9950 Durant Rd. Raleigh, NC 27614 Multipurpose Room, 1st floor 3:00 to 5:00 PM [Doors open at 2:45] How to prepare? Dress in clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in. Dance clothing can be worn, but it is not required. The floor is wood laminate, so please consider dance shoes or bare feet. Please bring your Bible, notebook, pen and water bottle Plan to arrive early to park and get settled in for start of class What will we be doing? The class will be 90% dance. You will receive teaching as we go along and will get a chance to practice what you have learned at the end. The event is closed to the public, only participants are allowed in the room in order to make it a comfortable space to worship in. Each class will focus on different techniques, music and choreography.
