Friday night March 3rd at 7pm, Hear David K sing Roy’s multi-octave range beautifully. Backing music videos with string parts just like the records. Enjoy hits from the 50s & 60s be bop and rockabilly to Roy’s dramatic ballads, hits recorded by others like Roy’s Blue Bayou Linda that Ronstadt recorded, Pretty Woman from the movie, In Dreams from the film Blue Velvet… all the way up to the Traveling Wilburys of the 80s. David K shares historic tidbits of Roy Orbison's tragic but also legendary career. (There is also a Sat., Mar. 4 matinee at 2pm. We sell these out, we'll add Sat. night 7pm) This one man show has been wowing audiences all over the Midwest, and as well in Arkansas and Florida! David offers a great show utilizing his guitar, piano, video, excellent backing music and his eclectic voice. It's like a heartfelt tour of musical memories. David K has recorded with Joey Molland of Badfinger (Beatles Apple Records), and with Phil Solem of The Rembrandts (Friends TV show theme), has performed with Dr. Fink of Prince & The Revolution and Jeff Cook of Alabama. He has submitted original songs to Edgar Winter, Toni Braxton, Spencer David and Jon Anderson of YES. David also performs as Buddy Holly.
