Come and improve your dance skills with two superb dance instructors, Damon D'Amico and Sofia Rodriguez . Both have indepth expereince in teaching, competing (UCWDC), and choreographing. We are offering 5 sessions of dance instruction in both WCS and Country 2-Step, developed specially for our dance community. These sessions are for dancers that have some experince in these dance styles (beginner-advanced). I believe that anybody can learn to dance if they want to and put a little effort into it. I haven't been a teacher for some time, I'm a coach, and I like to push you to new heights. Damon D’Amico *** What Damon didn’t tell you is that he is also a choreographer (think The Git Up, The Force, Rockin’ Cha and Mustang Sally-Cajun Style). He has competed for many years on the UCWDC circuit and introduced country swing to UCWDC-the country western competitive dance arena. He is an accomplished dancer of many dance styles, specializing in Country 2-Step and WCS. Having said this…he is known as a master teacher/coach of dance with outstanding reviews from workshop attendees and students. “I’ve been working as a professional Ballroom Dance Instructor since 2000 and can honestly say I can’t think of anything else that would bring me such joy every day. I was born and raised in Russian, Moscow and had started my ballroom dance career in the early youth of 1995. I have 8 years of experience competing professionally, 2 years of being a dance director, and 5 years of running a ballroom dance school. I have worked with students of all ages from 3 to 83. For 8 years I have also specialized in choreographing and teaching students if various levels and dance styles, country, west coast swing, ballroom, wedding routines helping many couples with their first wedding dance. I love working with students of all ages and abilities and get so much satisfaction from seeing how they grow and develop in their skills and performance. I have been a fully Certified Ballroom Dance Instructor since 2014 specializing in social dancing, competitive youth and adult dancing and wedding dance choreography lessons. I’ve placed 1st place in future rhythm and smooth champions several times, top 3 in rushing star and top 6 finalist in open. I enjoy building and developing and cementing necessary skills for students to have confidence with their dancing and to meet their dance goals so they never have to miss a chance to dance!” Sofia Rodriguez
