In this class students will use carbide turning tools and a wood lathe to turn a bowl from a block of wood. Once the bowl is turned, you will shape a set of chopsticks using sanders and drill holes into the side of bowl to hold the chopsticks when not in use. Everything will be finished with a food safe oil and ready for home use – enjoy a bowl of ramen, udon, pho, and more or use as a prep bowl.
